RESPONSIBILITIES:
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Manage all engineering requirements on designated vessels
- Manage internal workshops- and contractor's performance on designated vessels
- Ensure all day to day- and planned maintenance up to date
- Manage designated vessel drydocking
- Identify and ensure critical spares in stock
- Identify and manage approved upgrades and cost saving initiatives
- Compile and adhere to vessel budgets
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- B.Tech, National Higher Diploma (T4) Mech Eng. or similar
- 10-15 years post qualification applicable ship repair experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be physically fit of sober habits and punctual
- Must be a team player with a 'can-do' attitude
- Viking Fishing will require contactable references
