Viking Fishing has a position available for a Despatch Administrator, based at South Arm.
•Reporting to: Despatch Supervisor
•Department: Cold Stores
Purpose
•To efficiently manage and oversee the stock movement, dispatch, and receiving operations within the cold store department, ensuring the accurate handling and documentation of stock to maintain product quality, safety, and compliance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
•Filling of Dispatch documentation.
•Assist with Audits & Stock Taking.
•Processing transfer documentation
•Preparing and issuing release documents
•Coordinating sales order shipments, including export sales
•Handling label releases
•Managing ordering of PPE, records, and distribution
•Ordering and maintaining stationery and equipment supplies
•Standing in as supervisor for the Dispatch Supervisor whenever he is not available or as when required from time to time
KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCIES
•Minimum 1 year experience in Administration.
•Communication skills: Conducting verbal communication with supervisor and understanding instructions.
•Computer skills
•Record keeping: Strong record-keeping and documentation skills,
•Good customer service skills
•Inventory management
