JOB PURPOSE:
To Support efficient engineering and maintenance operations by overseeing fuel procurement for vessels, conducting general administrative tasks as required, and performing comprehensive monthly fuel analysis to ensure optimal performance and adherence to standards.

JOB PURPOSE:
To Support efficient engineering and maintenance operations by overseeing fuel procurement for vessels, conducting general administrative tasks as required, and performing comprehensive monthly fuel analysis to ensure optimal performance and adherence to standards.
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- The ability to liaise with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders.
- Obtain fuel order requisition form from vessel chief superintendent.
- Order required fuel from supplier.
- Ensure that the correct vessel receives the correct fuel order.
- Demonstrated ability in general administrative tasks, including data entry, record-keeping, and efficient organization of HR documentation.
- Safely store oil samples into required container
- Conduct filing of documents of engineering staff effectively
- Conduct WCAS and injury reports for required crew members.
- Ensuring accuracy in fuel orders, administrative processes, and data analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize tasks, and maintain an organized workflow
- Understanding of the marine industry, including basic employment acts.
- Inform supplier of defective oil samples.
- Analysis report is sent on defective oil samples.
- Issue monthly coffee, sugar, tea and stationery for quay side employees
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Grade 12
- 1-2 years' experience in administration
- Diploma/Certificate in administration
