To ensure the safe and professional transportation of goods/cargo.
Ensure adherence to compliance of all applicable legislative requirements, by-laws as well as Ladismith Powder policies.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensure the safe transportation of goods/cargo.
2. Ensure that the vehicle and you meet all National Roads Traffic Act requirements as well as Ladismith Powder policies and regulations.
3. Ensuring that all documents, goods, samples to be delivered or collected are done speedily and without damage.
4. Proper document control at all times.
5. Adhere to daily route schedules and no deviation without authorisation.
6. No unauthorised goods,personnel/ people may be transported.
7. Ensure that the company vehicles are kept in a good and clean state.
8. Ensure safety of the vehicle, goods and people.
9. Assist with loading and offloading of the truck.
10. Punctuality, neatness and preciseness is a critical requirement and non-negotiable.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12
• Valid Code 14 drivers’ licence with PDP
• Min 5 years’ experience
• Able to read maps, GPS etc.
• No criminal record
• Medically fit
• Good communication skills and must be able to perform under pressure
